Start exfoliating your lips by taking vaseline & putting a good amount on your lips then taking a clean (but old) toothbrush & softly brushing your lips. Do this before bed & keep the vaseline on all night to condition your lips. Try lip gloss w/ SPF in it (I think Neutrogina(sp?) Has some you can find @ Target or Walmart). & stop picking or biting the skin off when it cracks.
Try making a homemade lip exfoliator. You mix sugar, honey and a little vasaline. Then gently rub on your lips. Afterwards make sure you put Carmex on your lips. And what also helps is I put vasaline on my lips every night before bed. Hope this helps(:
CHAPSTICK GIRL. !!!!!
1. Stop peeling! And get a lip scrub, Lush makes amazing lip scrubs (available at certain Macys at the Lush counter or at Lush stores). You could also youtube a tutorial on how to make a lip scrub if you can’t find a Lush counter or store. You could also exfoliate your lips by brushing your lips with your toothbrush after you brush (just make sure you let your lips heel before you exfoliate).
2. Burt’s bees chapstick is great, but it will work if your lips aren’t chapped.
3. Drink lots of liquids and water, it helps with the drying out part.
4. This sounds crazy as hell, but my gramma told me about this little trick and it actually works. She never has dry lips because of this, she takes baby oil or kitchen oil and applies to her bellybutton, I usually take a q-tip and clean my belly button with baby oil and then apply some to the inside of my bellybutton using a q-tip (tip: the baby oil in gel form works great for this). I don’t know how this could help, but it somehow does..

Way better than the prequel, Man of My Dreams.,
I enjoyed this book a lot more than the prequel, MAN OF MY DREAMS. Although this one is a bit on the light side compared to my other book readings, I enjoyed it nevertheless. The thing is, LOVE ME FOREVER has the usual plot of an impoverished hero seeking for a rich heiress to marry in order to save his clan… Since I’ve read many books with this familiar format, I didn’t have that new excitement feelings while reading this book. In my opinion, Love Me Forever needs a bit more of wickedness to add sauciness to the overall story, a little bit of hard twist to add excitement and a little bit more of misunderstanding to add complexity to the relationship. However, Johanna Lindsey made it up by adding a touch of spunk & uniqueness on her well defined and utterly lovable characters. Lachlan and Kimberly are now in one of few favorite hero/heroine list of all times. They both have flaws physically which was a welcome change for me. They’re both too tall for others yet perfectly fit for each other. I was also getting tired of dark, stuffy, brooding and overbearing heroes. Our Lachlan here is playful, a tease, charming and loving. He’s a happy go lucky kindda guy. Mind u, he is all MANLY with a touch of arrogance but his boyish character is what drawned me more to him. There’s also no denial for him, he knows what he wants and goes for it. He realized in the end that he was in love with Kimberly and accepted it so. He is direct yet perhaps a bit dense… MEN, what can I say? LOL. Now, our heroine, Kimberly is just as refreshing as Lachlan. She was not describe as overly beautiful nor was she attractively sought after like most heroine in other books. In fact, She was considered unnoticeable. She does have her own beauty though which people notices only after a time. Kindda like, Her beauty grows in you. She’s quite & shy from time to time which I find fetching. She can be confident one minute then insecure next. She’s more realistic, just like u and me. That’s what made me like her all the more. Together, they made up for each other’s weaknesses. He is handsome, she is regular. He is funny, she is serious. When one is too trustful, the other is wary. I say, they are truly for each other! As for their relationship, well…their love developed slowly yet surely. I liked that idea very much. This isn’t a love at first sight thing, at least not for Lachlan, for he only have eyes for Megan. Ugh. Now, this is an added flutter to the plot. Since I’ve read MAN ON MY DREAMS, it was also good to see Megan and Devlin again. To read updates about the rest of the characters in MOMD was definitely a smiler. However, If u read my review on MOMD, the prequel for this book, you will see that I particularly didn’t favor Megan and Devlin there… They’re ok but not for me to liked them as I feel for Lachlan and Kimberly here in LMF. Especially after reading that harsh and low incident with Devlin and Lachlan (read to know what i mean), it was just so easy for me to dislike Devlin… UGH! Oh well, in the end, Ms. Lindsey did once again made up for that and made Devlin likable again. But I still like Lachlan best!
Despite its light-sided plot, Overall, this book is filled with humor and heart warming scenes you wouldn’t want to miss.

|Excellent Read,
This book is wonderful! It seemed like a breath of fresh air for romance enthusiasts who are tired of the same ol’ kidnap/runaway/lover’s fighting plotlines that we have come to know and love.
Lachlan is one of my favorite heroes, saying and doing all the right things for Kimberly, and I LOVED the fact that he calls her “Kimber”. It was such an endearing nick name whenever he used it.
Kimberly is a perfect heroin, someone we can all picture ourselves as. She isn’t beautiful, but she isn’t ugly either, just *normal*. At first, Lachlan doesn’t notice her for she is outshined by the magnificent beauty of the Duchess of Wrothson, but little by little, he *does* begin to notice and I thought that is more like what happens in real life.
They never bicker, she doesn’t run away, nor is she kidnapped, and the book is wrapped up nicely by the end, not just within the last 5 paragraphs as we have come to expect of other romance novels.
Finally, we have a heroin who isn’t a beauty, a man who sees how beautiful she is despite her plainness, and an all around feel-good love story that will make you wish Lachlan MacGregor was a real man. If you haven’t read this one, I strongly suggest you do. It is a sequel to “Man of My Dreams”, yet I believe it is 10 times better.

|A Sassy Down-To-Earth Romance That Keeps You Smiling!,
This book is the Sequel to the story of “Man of My Dreams” whose main characters were the Duke and Duchess of Wrothston, Devlin & Megan.
I just love the Heroine Kimberly Richards! She is outspoken and strong, but not to the point of being obnoxious. I hate when they are so “strong” that everything is an argument or viewed distasteful. It gets to be so annoying! Anyway Kimberly is sent to stay with the Wrothstons in order for them to find her a husband quickly, at the request of Kimberly’s cold father, who wants her gone.
Our Hero Lachlan MacGregor is a gem! He is strong, handsome and charming but not in a sappy way. I fell in love with him! He also comes to the Wrothstons in need of a bride. His aunt (by marriage) is related to the Wrothstons.
Unbeknown to him is that the Duchess of Wrothston, Megan is the woman that he tried to kidnap from Devlin a year or so ago, and he and Devlin had fought. He thinks Megan is the most beautiful creature that he has ever seen and feels that he is in love with her. When he sees Megan again he thinks that it is faith and that they belong together. He wants to steal her away from Devlin. On the first meeting he doesn’t even notice Kimberly, too busy looking at Megan. But Kimberly notices him.
I was smiling to myself while reading the book. Lachlan and Kimberly of course get off on the wrong foot, but soon sparks begin to fly. Their banter is charming and witty. And that banter and their disagreements makes him take notice of her. And what I love is Kimberly is not a ravishing beauty who had men falling at her feet. She is on the “plain” side but had a nice figure and beautiful violet eyes. I loved how Lachlan starts to notice Kimberly first by her standing up to him, how she sparked his anger and lust in a way his “love” Megan couldn’t. I loved the way he starts noticing the beautiful color of her eyes and her curvy figure while getting to know her. It is definitely refreshing reading a story where the Hero & Heroine don’t love each other at first sight but slowly with time. Don’t get me wrong, sometimes it makes for a great read but is overdone in romance novels! This story was more realistic but never less romantic!!!
The only thing I found really annoying was Devlin & Megan, especially Devlin! ***SPOILER in JUST the NEXT SENTENCE***
At one point Devlin is beating the heck out of a drunken Lachlan and it really pissed me off! Let’s beat on the drunk guy Devlin! But don’t think Lachlan could not have handle Devlin, he’s still an Alpha male but was half gone from being drunk.
I haven’t read “Man of My Dreams”, that book is Devlin & Megan’s story, and their characters in this book doesn’t inspire me to want to either. JL wasted a couple of pages on them to my extreme annoyance! I found Devlin to be stuffy and Megan is…I don’t know…maybe it’s just me but didn’t really feel her. They were OK in the end but I could have done without them in Lachlan & Kimberly’s story!
I love this book! It is a keeper and one of my favorites. I view books as being keepers when I can read it again and again without being bored. I don’t understand how anyone would not like it. It’s refreshing from the same old tired plot!
Johanna Lindsey is a great writer and I love almost all of her books! Another great author I recommend is Teresa Medeiros, especially “Thief of Hearts”!

A Timeless Story for All Ages!,
Children naturally are interested in understanding a parent’s perspective on the family. Mr. and Mrs. Mallard’s search for a safe home for their future family makes a wonderful story for children and parents to explore and understand more about parental love. Although the book has a 4-8 age reading level, younger children enjoy having it read to them (based on the experiences of my four children). The illustrations are terrific and draw the child’s interest very easily. Older children like to reread the story because of its comfortable connection to their more youthful years and reinforcement of their sense of being wanted, loved, and belonging.
To me, the best part of the book is that the locations are actually easy to find in Boston. So if you live in the Boston area or ever come here, you can also take your children to experience the story. I know my younger daughter thought that her first Swan boat ride in the Public Garden was the ultimate moment in her life (up to that point). She kept wanting to know which duck was Mrs. Mallard, and which one was Mr. Mallard. Then she wanted to spot Jack, Kack, Lack, Mack, Nack, Ouack (my favorite name in the book), Pack, and Quack. I had a ball! There are also statues of Mrs. Mallard and her 8 offspring that the children can touch. There’s also an annual parade that you can participate in.
If you don’t know the story, here’s a summary: Mr. and Mrs. Mallard were looking for a place to live where they could raise a family safely. Whenever Mr. Mallard found someplace he liked, Mrs. Mallard worried about foxes and turtles. Finally they got to the pond in the Public Garden in Boston, and were too tired to go on. So they spent the night on the little island there. The next morning they could not find much food, until the people on the Swan boats began to throw them peanuts. But the Mallards were almost run over by a bicycle, so they felt they needed a safer place. They tried several, but each had a drawback. Finally, they found an island in the Charles River not far from the Public Garden that met all their requirements. Michael, the policeman, fed them peanuts. Soon, Mrs. Mallard laid 8 eggs, and stayed to hatch them. After the ducklings were born, they learned to swim and walk single file behind their Mother. One day, she walked them towards the Public Garden. But they could not get across the highway. Michael spotted them and stopped the traffic so they could cross. He called Clancy at the station and told him to send a car to help Mrs. Mallard and the ducklings cross at the Public Garden. When in the pond there, they met Mr. Mallard on the little island. They decided to live there, and followed the Swan boats for peanuts after that.
I have enjoyed reading this story and reading it to children for almost 30 years. I look forward to reading it to my grandchildren when the time comes. It has also been my favorite book to give as a gift to new parents.
Enjoy the wonderful gift of warm family feeling in this book, and leave your stalled thinking about your cares and worries behind. It will remind you what is really important in your life!

|Quack quack waddle waddle, quack quack waddle waddle,
A tip of the hat, one and all, to Mr. Robert McCloskey. The father of the delicately shaded picture book, his stories always contain simple plots and a bundle of warmth. “Make Way For Ducklings” (which battles with “Blueberries For Sal” for the title Best-Known-McCloskey-Story) is one of the author’s strongest efforts. Bringing elements of rural and urban life together, it not only tells a great tale but remains timeless in its telling.
The story follows Mr. & Mrs. Mallard, a realistically portrayed duck couple. No animals in funny clothes here. The two settle on a small metropolitan island to lay their eggs. Once hatched it’s up to Mrs. Mallard and her troop to walk to their new home in the central park with the help of their local police force.
In the sixty some odd years since its publication, “Make Way For Ducklings” has remained exactly the same. The closest it comes to dating itself (aside from the stately cars and “lending library”) is that Mr. Mallard abandons his family to fly ahead to the save island. That’s one way of looking at it. Another way is to point out that Mrs. Mallard is a capable mother who knows exactly how to lead her small brood. The book is fun, diverting, and illustrated beautifully. It does not pretend to be anything it isn’t. It is the classic above all other classics. And it is McCloskey’s greatest invention.

|A McCloskey Classic,
Robert McCloskey’s classic children’s book, Make Way for Ducklings is just as delightful in the year 2002 as it was back when it was first published in 1941. The timeless story of Mr. and Mrs. Mallard and their eight adorable ducklings is still a fun read for children and parents alike. The story begins as the prospective parents search for a new home suitable for raising their young ones. Mrs. Mallard is clearly the expert in this endeavor and Mr. Mallard is quite relieved when she finally settles on a spot that is not too dangerous or noisy for their young family. The couple make themselves quite at home on a little island in the Charles River of Boston, a quiet oasis within the busy city. Soon the ducklings hatch and Mrs. Mallard sets about teaching them all they need to know in order to live in the city. By now they have made good friends with some of their human neighbors, especially Michael, the policeman. When the family makes its first trip into the city, Michael calls for backup and literally stops traffic all along their path. The people the Mallards encounter are just as pleased to see the ducks as the Mallards are to be there. The reader leaves the family settling comfortably for the night after a day of happily following the Swan boats in the park and eating the peanunts tossed their way. The charm of this book lies in both the heartwarming story and th realistic but idyllic illustrations. McCloskey is quite gifted at portraying the natural world to children in a way that is authentic and familiar. Most children have seen duck families in a nearby pond and witnessed the way the ducklings learn about the world by waddling along after their parents. The sketched illustrations add to the natural feeling of the book. The depiction of the ducks is terrific because they are visually expressive but still look like ducks. Another engaging facet of the story is the positive interaction between animals and humans. The Mallards find a way to live comfortably within a city full of people and their human neighbors are welcoming and accommodating. Overall, this a warm and timeless book. It is just perfect for a parent and child to read together or for a teacher to read to a classroom of younger kids. This is a good selection for children aged 3 to 7.

|You can “shampoo” your hair with conditioner.
Have you considered only washing your hair at night, and just get it wet in the morning to style it?
If you dont want to use baby powder, just brush it really good. Or you can rub it with one of those fabric softner sheets.
only actually shampoo it about once a week, but justt condition it everytime you shower
you can also put baby powder in your hair and brush it through, it makes it not greasy and makes it smell better
I hope so, I am still with mine after 2 years and I know I could never love anyone as much as her.
yes. if you are in a good relation then you will never get bored, and stick to them for the rest of your life
i hope so… im my bfs first and we have been together for 4yrs. i hope he will always love me the way he does now

baby heart rate is from 140 to 180 per min usually. as the baby moves inside the uterus the location of the heart is changed. its normal to get heart beats in different locations in different time. home doppler is useful to detect fetal heart beat. if the heart beats too slow (rate below 140) CONSULT ur doc immediately..
i just read about this in my pampers.com weekly news letter so I’m glad to share the facts with someone else. your baby moves so it is normal to get a reading on once side and then a better reading on the other. Plus with you pushing down on the uterus the baby responds to it by squirming. How to tell if its your baby’s heart beating? A healthy baby heart beats at 120-160 beats per minute. Much faster than your own. I wouldn’t feel it to be a waste of money to have your own Doppler. I’m 20weeks and want to buy a tesascope since now that my baby is big enough, that is all I need now to know that he or she is growing strong!
Your question is “How could you possibly be cool with that?”" Moron. Ask something meaningful.
Well the Queen is a diplomat. She’s basically a non-political head of state.
And she costs each citizen less than a dollar each year…and she brings in loads of tourists.
Now there is an actual welfare queen.
Well, ya see, over here we fork over money to the causes espoused by lobbyists and we fork over personal money to celebrities. What’s the difference.
