sleep saver!,
This is THE baby ‘gadget’ that we couldn’t live without. My daughter could break out of any swaddle before this. I had tried receiving blankets, the sleep sack with the arm wrap thingie, and the ones withe velco…nothing worked. After getting used to the MB, my daughter knows its bedtime and sleeps through the night without waking up because she startled herself. I give it to all my friends as shower gifts now. This is a MUST HAVE if your baby likes swaddling. (One thing, it takes a little bit of practice to get used to it. Also, I think it was harder for me to get used to it than her because she kinda looks like she is in a straight jacket, however, she likes it. There is a reason mothers and hospitals have swaddled for centuries.)

|Newborn couldn’t sleep w/o it!,
We added Miracle Blankets to our baby registry after hearing a friend rave about them. Thank heavens we did! In our childbirth classes, my husband and I were the most swaddling-impaired of all our classmates! For whatever reason, we just couldn’t get it right. Luckily, these blankets make it easy enough for a monkey to swaddle a baby. My only criticism is that the colored versions of these blankets are not as soft or stretchy as the unbleached cotton ones. But they’re still worthy of 5 stars.
Seattle recently had a heat wave, and one night we tried putting our newborn son in a light sleep sack instead of his Miracle Blanket. He woke nearly every 10-30 minutes due to startling himself with his arms and legs. After half a sleepless night, we wrapped him up tightly in one of these blankies and it was smooth sailing for the rest of the night.
Another thing I like about these blankets is that you can easily pull the leg pouch down to check a diaper in the middle of the night and it won’t ruin the swaddle. Perfect for people who, like me, are obsessed with keeping their little one dry!
Our friends warned us that these blankets might actually be a little TOO good. Their daughter is now 6 months old and she still prefers to sleep with them – despite having outgrown them months ago. So they just wrap her up and leave her legs out.

|Great blanket!,
This blanket was suggested to us by nurses in the NICU when our son was there. It has been fantastic! It helps our son sleep up to 6 hours at night. Wonderful!
