I am 22 weeks 2 days pregnant. Last night I felt the baby moving and kicking. Sometimes they baby will kick low and sometimes he/she will kick a little high. Is the baby moving his legs or could it be something else. Where at this point should the baby’s head be? Near my belly button? Lower? Higher? I have the book called “what to expect when you are expecting” but it isn’t much help with where your baby really is at this point. I am also not really showing yet. I am alittle overweight in the tummy area and alittle worried as to why I’m not showing. When did you start to show?

it shows a little later in “bigger framed” women, like me.
i am a little bit overweight in my belly area and i didn’t show until about 20-25 weeks.
if your baby hasn’t turned head down yet, it could be the baby kicking low.
if he did turn, then he could be punching you low!
lol
you can also feel hiccups easier when they’re head down.
it feels like rythmical small kicks almost.

Before you ask, yes, I am getting very good prenatal care, but I email my midwife CONSTANTLY asking her questions from what’s the best sleeping position to can I take this medicine, and I figured that this question could easily be answered by someone who’s been pregnant before and I should give her a break. 
I’m 16 weeks pregnant and I have a Doppler with which I can listen to the baby’s heartbeat. I use it every couple of days, and just listen to the heartbeat for a few seconds to get the BPM (120 every time). Well, my baby used to be above the pelvic bone right below my belly button, but now (s)he hangs out pretty far to the left of my belly button, and I find the heartbeat about 3 inches from where I think the center of my uterus should be. Is this normal? Can they move around that much at 16 weeks, or should I contact my midwife to see if the positioning is wrong?
I’ve never been pregnant before, so forgive me if I’m “freaking out” about nothing.

Everything is fine. She has room now to move a lot. Wait until you get further along and she makes your stomach noticeably lopsided!
